Q: How do I use MRMLS?

A: SRCAR offers free training for the MLS on the 3rd Thursday of every month. from 10:00am-11:30am we give a Basic Matrix overview; From 1:00pm- 2:30pm we go over Advanced Matrix; From 2:45pm- 4:00pm we go over listing Input and Photos. No RSVP needed.

Q: What do I do if I need to learn how to use the MLS right now and can not wait unitl the next free course?

A: If you are unable to take the course there are a few other options that you can take. One option is to download our instruction manuals which are available for: IMRMLS, MRMLS Matrix, SmartMap, Realist Tax, and SmartTrac right off of the MLS Website. Log on to www.IMRMLS.com then click on “support” and then “Training Manuals”. If you are more of a visual learner another option would be to download our “Training Videos” which are also located on the MRMLS Website. Q: How do I upload my photos to my listing in the MLS?

A: Log on the www.MRMLSMATRIX.com Click on the "Add/Edit," tab at the top of the page. Half way down the Add Edit screen you will find "Quick Modify." Type in your MLS# in the space provided and click on Modify. Once the page loads you will see a link that says "Manage Photos," click on it. Click Browse, find your photo on your computer and click on the Upload button to upload that one photo. Once that is done you will have another slot to upload to and you have a total of 20 slots for photos. Once you are done uploading your photos, goto the bottom of the page and click save.

Q: How do I change my contact information on my listings?

A: All phone number changes must to be submitted to SRCAR in writing. Any changes will only take in to affect on all FUTURE listings (unless otherwise noted). If there are any current listings in the MLS that need to be changed we do require a list of each listing numbers. Agents can NOT change the office phone or fax number. Only the broker can instruct SRCAR to change these numbers. If we are instructed by the broker to do so then it will change the phone numbers for everyone attached to that office.

Q: My Listing accidentally went into "expired;" How do I re-activate it?

A: Once a listing has expired in the MLS the listing agent no longer has access to it. In order for SRCAR to re-activate an expired listing you must summit a copy of the “Modification of Terms” contract. M.O.T must be signed off by the seller and agent, referencing the mls # and new extension date.

Q: How do I attach a virtual tour to my listing?

A: Log onto the www.MRMLSMATRIX.com . Click on the “Add/Edit,”tab at the top of the home page. Half Way Down the Add Edit screen you will find “Quick Modify” type in your mls # in that space and click “modify”. Once that page populates you will see a link that says “Residential Form” click on that link. Click on Section 2 “Features”  Scroll down towards the bottom of that page and there you will find an area where you can copy and paste your link to add your virtual tour.

Q: How long does it take for a change made in the Matrix to update on the Alliance?

A: Once a listing has been updated in the Matrix it can take up to 72 hours for it to update in the Alliance.

Q: What MLS's do SRCAR members have access to through the Alliance?

A: The MLS Alliance contains listings from the following MLS systems: San Fernando, MRMLS, Glendale/Pasadena, Orange Coast, So Cal, Combined LA Westside, South Bay, Conejo Valley and DAMLS.

Q: Which MLS's do we have access to using reciprocal passwords?

A: Desert Community, Glendale/Pasadena iTECH MLS, Geater South Bay MLS, Desert Area MLS and Socal MLS. WE do not receive reciprocal passwords for Orange Coast MLS, or the Combined La Westside CLAW MLS.

Q: If I have an out of area listing which MLS's does SRCAR reciprocate with?

A: SRCAR inputs all of our members out of area listings for the following MLS’s: CLAW, SoCAL, iTECH, Desert Area, and South Bay. If your listing is not in one of those MLS’s then they need to contact the other board directly to find out their reciprocal policy.

Q: How long does it take SRCAR to process a reciprocal listing?

A: SRCAR has a 24 hour turn around on all reciprocal listing changes and up to 48 hours for new reciprocal listings from the time that we receive a completed input form.
